A SOLID EFFORT FÖR BETTER WATER QUALITY
Polluted rainwater runoff can cause great environmental problems and damage to our water resources. Today, thousands of liters of oil, heavy metals and other pollutants are drained into city drains together with rainwater runoff from roads, parking places and other surfaces.
This is in no way a sustainable solution from an environmental or economical viewpoint. New environmental goals make for much harder regulations regarding both the handling of water and water quality.
Right now, many cities are evaluating the handling of water runoff, both in current solutions as well as for future housing developments and commercial exploits. Just on its own, the management of existing drainage systems is a huge undertaking.
Any large city carries over 10 000 runoff drains and many of those are in immediate need of a filtering solution. It takes the latest state-of-the-art technology to have water runoff as a positive resource instead of an environmental problem, and FlexiClean is that technology.
Our contribution in the changeover for better cleaning of water runoff. It's a street smart stake in the environment as well as for a better work environment.
DOES THE JOB FOR EVERYONE
FlexiClean obviously does the job to clean runoff and drains but it doesn't stop there. The maintenance crews must also be able to do their jobs safely and efficiently.
It's important to keep the number of heavy lifts to a minimum, especially as the technical development moves towards more drains and filters to be inspected and cleaned. FlexiClean is the solution.
The filter container occupies a maximum of 50% of the cross section of the well and does not need to be removed to determine the degree of mechanical or chemical clogging of the drain.
Sludge- and steamcleaning can be carried out with the filter in place with no problems of fitting the hose equipment in place. When it's time to change the filter you simply pull out the filter cassette that is the central part of FlexiClean. This technology saves time and reduces the effort needed to get the work done - it saves both money and backs. One of the main design goals reached with the development of FlexiClean was to give a superior working environment. But the product also needs to be able function in a multitude of diverse surroundings and we deliver what we promise.
Keep in mind that FlexiClean is not developed for one single purpose, it handles applications for any number of different purposes and can decontaminate water runoffs from basic applications like walkway areas to petrol stations (UK) gas stations (USA), all the way to heavy duty problem areas like very large surface parking garages.
This is fortunate for our customers as there are no universal filters or wishing wells yet in place but only wishful thinking and visions about the environment that takes hard work. The only way to go is to invest in a filter worth its' value and more. |
